How To Read Documentations For Beginners
Documentations are essential resources for developers to understand how a certain technology, framework, or tool works. As a beginner, it might seem overwhelming to dive into documentations, but with a few tips and tricks, you can make the most out of them.
1. Start with the Basics
When you’re new to a technology, it’s important to start with the basics. Look for an introduction or quick start guide in the documentation that will give you an overview of the key concepts and features.
2. Use the Search Function
Documentations can be quite lengthy, so it’s often helpful to use the search function to quickly find what you’re looking for. If you have a specific question or problem, try searching for keywords related to it.
3. Read the Examples
Many documentations include code examples that demonstrate how to use the technology or tool in practice. Take the time to read and understand these examples as they can provide valuable insights into how things work.
4. Don’t Skip the API Reference
API references are crucial for understanding the methods, classes, and functions that a technology provides. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the terminology used in the API reference to make it easier to navigate through the documentation.
5. Take Notes
As you go through the documentation, take notes of key points, tips, and tricks that you find useful. This will help you retain the information better and have a quick reference guide for future use.
6. Experiment and Practice
The best way to understand a technology is to experiment with it and practice using it in real-world scenarios. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, as they are a valuable learning opportunity.
7. Join Communities and Forums
If you’re stuck or have questions while reading the documentation, consider joining developer communities and forums where you can ask for help and get advice from experienced developers.
By following these tips, you can navigate through documentations more effectively and gain a better understanding of the technology, tool, or framework you’re learning. Remember, documentations are there to help you, so don’t hesitate to dive in and explore!

Thanks brother, I needed this!
Thank you for this! I felt pretty dumb searching for a 'how to read instructions' video hahaha. I didn't know about the CTRL+click on the package name to get the source code thing, so thanks for that as well.
How to read linux kernel documentation? That is really a tough nut to crack
too much talkative without any real matter up to 8 minutes. for reading doc, need to understand the meaning of symbol enclosed text, identify mandatory and optional part and others things, which i don't know thus watched your video to know but disappointed totally
So tired of people uploading videos and not explain what the title says they are going to explain.
