Abu Obaida Praises Houthis for Red Sea Attacks, Hamas Delivers New Message to Israel on Gaza

Posted by

Abu Obaida, a spokesperson for Hamas, recently expressed his support and admiration for the Houthi rebels in Yemen for their successful attacks on international shipping in the Red Sea. In a statement released on social media, Abu Obaida praised the Houthis for their “heroic and successful operations against the Zionist enemy.”

The Houthis have been engaged in a conflict with the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen for several years, and have recently intensified their efforts to target shipping in the Red Sea. This has raised concerns about the security of one of the world’s most important shipping lanes, through which millions of barrels of oil and other cargo pass every day.

Abu Obaida’s statement comes in the wake of a new message from Hamas to Israel regarding the situation in Gaza. In the video message, Hamas leaders warned Israel of a potential escalation in violence if the blockade and other restrictions on Gaza are not lifted. The leaders also highlighted the impact of the recent hostilities on the civilian population in Gaza, and called for an end to the Israeli occupation.

The statements from both Hamas and Abu Obaida reflect the ongoing tensions in the region, and the complex web of alliances and rivalries that shape the Middle East. While Hamas and the Houthi rebels are not direct allies, they share a common enmity towards Israel and the United States, and have shown a willingness to collaborate on certain issues.

The recent developments also shed light on the broader strategic and geopolitical implications of the conflicts in Yemen and Gaza. The Red Sea is a crucial artery for global trade, and any disruption in its shipping lanes could have far-reaching consequences for the world economy. Similarly, the situation in Gaza has been a source of ongoing conflict and instability in the region, with no resolution in sight.

As the tensions continue to simmer, it is likely that the statements from Hamas and Abu Obaida will further inflame the situation, and raise the risk of further confrontations. The international community will need to redouble its efforts to defuse the crises in both Yemen and Gaza, and prevent a further escalation that could have grave consequences for the entire region.

Hindustan Times doing it's best to publicise the Hamas or anti Israeli actions by even collecting smallest pieces and showing in a bigger form where as the killings of civilians and children and atrocity cause by the IDF are not publicise in this very media widely. A matter of discrimination is here on lead by HT news media.

The Houthis' actions play into the hands of the United States. The Red Sea is the most important trade route between Europe and Asia; the route around Africa is much longer and more expensive, which means that goods delivered this way will be more expensive, and this makes goods from the United States more attractive. Normal American business.
