Chinese Navy did not respond to distress call from abducted ship near Yemen while Houthi rockets targeted US warship

Posted by

The China Navy has come under fire after it was revealed that they ignored a distress call from an abducted ship near Yemen as Houthi rockets targeted a US warship.

The incident occurred earlier this week when the MV OSIOS, a cargo ship that was traveling from Greece to India, was hijacked by Houthi rebels off the coast of Yemen. The crew of the ship managed to send out a distress call as the rebels took control of the vessel and demanded a ransom for the release of the crew members.

As the situation escalated, the US Navy deployed the USS Winston S. Churchill to the area to provide assistance and support. However, as the US warship approached the scene, it was targeted by Houthi rockets. In response, the USS Winston S. Churchill launched several missiles in self-defense, ultimately neutralizing the threat.

During this tense situation, the China Navy, which also had a presence in the area, was reportedly contacted by the distressed MV OSIOS. However, it is alleged that the distress call was ignored by the Chinese naval forces, leading to criticism and condemnation from the international community.

The Chinese government has not yet commented on the allegations, but the incident has sparked widespread outrage and concern. Many are questioning China’s stance on international maritime security and their responsibility to assist vessels in distress, especially in a region known for piracy and conflict.

This incident is particularly concerning as it comes at a time when tensions between the US and China are at a high, due to ongoing trade disputes and military tensions in the South China Sea. The apparent lack of cooperation and support from the China Navy in this situation is likely to further strain relations between the two nations.

The safety and security of ships and crew members at sea should be a top priority for all naval forces, regardless of political tensions or disputes. The failure of the China Navy to respond to the distress call from the MV OSIOS is a worrying development and raises serious questions about their commitment to international maritime law and safety.

In times of crisis, it is imperative that all nations work together to ensure the safety and security of vessels at sea. The China Navy’s failure to assist the MV OSIOS in their time of need is a stark reminder of the importance of international cooperation and collaboration in ensuring maritime security.

As the investigation into this incident continues, it is crucial that the China Navy provides an explanation for their actions and takes steps to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. The safety of ships and crew members at sea should never be compromised for political reasons, and all naval forces must uphold their duty to protect and assist vessels in distress.

The Chinese sailors are cowards and can only bully lightly armed ships. They are no match for the fast, agile Somali pirates and their attack boats. That is why they did not respond to distress calls. It may be Chinese are big supporters of Iranian proxies – the Houthi rebels, Hezbollah, Ha,as navy and the Somalian pirates. Hence US navy has to counter Houthi missile attacks with brute force of cruise missiles and air launched bombs. Only the US, British and Indian special forces are daring enough to counter the Houthi and Somali pirate ships.

In the coming months, the United States and NATO will eventually plan a full-scale invasion of Yemen to neutralize and eradicate the Houthis rebels' threats to International shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden and restore Peace and Security in the war-torn country.

The invasion plan includes US and NATO's Permanent Land, Air, and Naval bases on the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula.

The plan also includes a unique Political Process for National Unity among Yemen's religious and ethnic divides and fighting factions.

The plan also includes reconstruction of the country's infrastructures and economic development of the war-torn country.

The Political, Economic, and Security stability of war-torn Yemen is in the best interests of the region, the security of Global shipping, the Suez Canal, and Europe, and most importantly Global Energy Security.

The Chinese military full of single lonely men running away from a fight? No surprises there. Take a look at the actions of Chinese troops on UN missions in Africa. They stood by and did nothing while pirates attacked a village. The Chinese government's mouth is writing these checks that their military can't cash.
