Ingredients:

1. 1 medium-sized bottle gourd, peeled and cubed
2. 200 grams of mutton, washed and cut into small pieces
3. 2 onions, finely chopped
4. 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
5. 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste
6. 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
7. 1 teaspoon of red chili powder

12. Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions:

1. Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Saute until they turn golden brown.

2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute until the raw smell disappears.

3. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.

4. Add the mutton pieces, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes until the mutton is well coated with the spices.

7. Add more water if necessary and cook until the bottle gourd is soft and cooked.

8. Finally, add the garam masala powder and stir well. Cook for another 5 minutes on low heat.
