You Will Lose Your Job if You Don’t Do This…

In today’s competitive job market, it’s important to stay on top of your game in order to keep your job or advance in your career. There are several key things that can lead to losing your job if not taken seriously.

1. Lack of Performance:

Employers expect their employees to perform at a high level and consistently meet or exceed expectations. Failing to do so can result in being let go from your job. It’s essential to continuously strive for excellence and show your value to the organization.

2. Poor Attitude:

Your attitude at work can greatly impact how others perceive you and can ultimately affect your job security. Having a negative attitude, being confrontational, or not being a team player can be grounds for termination. It’s important to maintain a positive and professional attitude in the workplace.

3. Lack of Initiative:

If you are not proactive in taking on new projects, seeking out opportunities for growth, or showing initiative in your role, it can signal to your employer that you are not fully committed to the job. Employers value employees who take charge and show a willingness to go above and beyond.

4. Insubordination:

Disobeying company policies, not following directions from management, or being insubordinate in any way can result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination. It’s important to respect the authority of your superiors and adhere to the policies and procedures of the company.

5. Lack of Professionalism:

Behaving unprofessionally, such as using inappropriate language, engaging in office gossip, or not adhering to dress code standards, can reflect poorly on you and can jeopardize your job. It’s crucial to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.

Conclusion:

In order to maintain job security and advance in your career, it’s imperative to take these factors into consideration. By performing at a high level, maintaining a positive attitude, showing initiative, being respectful and professional, you can increase your chances of keeping your job and thriving in your career.

Just to clarify, "some people" refers to those who, to this day, ignore AI. Feel free to disagree below.

Again nice video, you're helping us getting on track for the future development 🙂

Will you make a video about AutoGen that got released by Microsoft recently?
Would like to hear your thoughts on it (and maybe a small tutorial/project) 🙂

I am told you have a training program, is that true? I am a senior software developer who wants to get into AI implementation.

Smart analysis. I literally just published my book The Productivity Principle and say that AI is like being assigned an intern. Alone it eventually could take over your job but the smart people will leverage the AI like an intern. Give it things that help free up your day and allow you to spend more time on better usage, engagement and work/life balance.

Wow, I cannot believe it – you are actually one of the first like-minded human with whom all my thoughts regarding AI fully match! I also do not think that there will be more jobs generated after AI takes over and automates majority of knowledge work. When I hear the statements like "humanity always figured it out in such revolutions" I disagree because AI is simply another beast on totally another level and it affects ALL of the areas and domains, no exceptions. With such pace even humanoids will be around in no time.

When it comes to AI productivity gain for juniors vs seniors it's really hard to predict here. Either juniors do not exist anymore in future because all their tasks are accomplished by AI or then seniors do not exist because the gap between junior and senior is gone. And again, when LLMs become even more capable and AGI arrives, we can only speculate!

P.S. I had also produced music in past (EDM).

Would love to connect outside of Youtube. Are you posting on any other platform?
