Donald Trump, former President, gives testimony at civil fraud trial

Posted by

Former President Donald Trump made an appearance on the witness stand at a civil fraud trial on Monday, where he fervently denied allegations that his now-defunct Trump University was a scam.

The trial, which is taking place in San Diego, centers around a lawsuit accusing the former president of defrauding students who paid hefty sums to learn about real estate at Trump University. The plaintiffs argue that the institution, which was founded in 2005 and ceased operations in 2010, misled them with false promises and high-pressure sales tactics.

Under oath, Trump maintained that the university provided valuable real estate education and claimed that most of the students were satisfied with their experience. He also defended the promotional materials used to market the courses, insisting that they accurately portrayed what the institution offered.

During his testimony, Trump’s combative and confrontational style was on full display, as he clashed with the plaintiffs’ attorney, Jason Forge, on multiple occasions. At one point, the former president accused Forge of making “nasty” and “horrible” statements about him and his family. He also suggested that the attorney was trying to use the trial as a platform for personal attacks.

Despite the tense exchanges, Trump remained resolute in his defense of Trump University, asserting that the educational institution had been misconstrued by the media and that it provided valuable lessons for aspiring real estate investors.

The trial comes at a time when Trump is facing multiple legal challenges, including a criminal investigation led by New York prosecutors and several civil lawsuits. The outcome of this trial could have significant implications for the former president, as a ruling against him could further tarnish his reputation and potentially lead to financial repercussions.

With the media spotlight once again shining on Trump, his appearance at the civil fraud trial has reignited debates about his business practices and the impact of his controversial tenure as president. As the proceedings continue, all eyes will be on the courtroom to see how this latest legal battle unfolds and what it means for the future of the former president.

Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis, Letitia James and Jack Smith are all collectively involved in what amounts to be another Russian collusion hoax or in another major crime being committed by different levels of our justice system from state to federal, in an attempt to keep Trump from running for president or at the very least to tarnish his reputation. All the before mentioned deserve to be disbarred and indicted for gross abuse of power, for fraud and for interfering in an ongoing election. And this includes judges Engoron and Chutkan, of whom are obviously complicit in all of this. Their banana republic antics cannot and should not be tolerated.
