What the alcohol smells and taste like is plastic. The vodka I put into the freedom flask had to be DISCARDED as it TASTED LIKE PLASTIC. I contacted the company to ask if there was a way to successfully 'off gas' the plastic and I've received no answer from them. Look for another solution.

I don't get all the comments below asking "why?" When you're a particular kind of alcoholic, you don't care about how it tastes or if it's warm. Like those Buckley's commercials "Tastes awful but it works". Just fill it with something hard and take a shot. Take it like it's medicine and get it over with, dammit.

Is this product BPA free? Can't find the answer on the website. Lot of the reviews (Amazon) report a STRONG plastic taste and say to soak in vinegar/water before using to lessen the plastic taste. This is what has kept me from buying.

This is pretty cool, as im from Ireland and some music festivals wont allow alcohol into the main stage areas etc,so this would be usefull.
