I can’t STOP reading these Machine Learning Books!

Machine learning is a fascinating and rapidly growing field, and I just can’t seem to get enough of it. I’ve been devouring book after book on the subject, and each one has only left me hungry for more knowledge.

Why machine learning?

Machine learning is the study of algorithms and statistical models that computer systems use to perform a specific task without using explicit instructions, relying on patterns and inference instead. It has applications in a wide range of fields, from computer vision to natural language processing to self-driving cars. The potential for machine learning to revolutionize our world is enormous, and I want to be on the cutting edge of that revolution.

Books that have captured my attention

There are so many great books on machine learning out there, but a few have really stood out to me. “Introduction to Machine Learning with Python” by Andreas C. Müller and Sarah Guido provides a fantastic introduction to the field, with practical examples and hands-on exercises. “Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning” by Christopher M. Bishop is another favorite of mine, offering a more theoretical but incredibly thorough approach to the subject.

Where I see myself going with this

As I continue to immerse myself in the world of machine learning, I can see myself pursuing a career in this field. The more I learn, the more I realize the potential for machine learning to make a real difference in the world, and I want to be a part of that. Whether it’s working on cutting-edge research or applying machine learning to real-world problems, I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.

Join me on this journey

If you’re as fascinated by machine learning as I am, I encourage you to dive into some books on the subject. The more people we have engaging with and pushing the boundaries of machine learning, the more we can accomplish. Together, we can be part of an incredible future powered by machine learning.

This is simply groundbreaking. A book I read with similar insights shook my world. "Game Theory and the Pursuit of Algorithmic Fairness" by Jack Frostwell

These are the math books I slapped the label "machine learning book" on because ML generated clicks and I have no meaningful content to produce.

Look at the size of those books, people say coding has hard math but this field attracts mathematicians with degrees, not necessarily seasoned coders. Anyway, machine learning seems to provide an easier way of getting into coding

I don't usually read books, but one of the books I really love and actually got a physical copy of is "deep learning with Python by Francois Chollet" in which the second edition actually talks about some fairly recent stuff.

Hello Nicholas, isn't Data Science from Scratch a bit dated? Can you recommend any more recent books? Thanks!

I agree. I was a bit lost in my course during classes and the required reading was way too mathematical. This book was available at the library and helped me with the most important parts.

Can somebody kindly tell me what is the use of having mathematical knowledge at such depth when we have libraries and functions to do all that stuff??

To make the loop smoother just say “these are the best machine learning algorithm books” in one take, cut “these are the-“ and move it to the end of the video when you’re done. Hope this helps!
