Next.js 13: Better Fonts Management
Next.js 13, the latest version of the popular React framework, comes with improved fonts management capabilities. With the new features, developers can easily integrate Google Fonts and manage local fonts in their Next.js projects.
Google Fonts Integration
Google Fonts is a library of free and open-source fonts that can be easily integrated into web projects. Next.js 13 provides built-in support for Google Fonts, making it easier for developers to add custom fonts to their applications. By simply specifying the desired Google Font in the project configuration, Next.js automatically fetches and applies the font to the project.
Local Font Management
In addition to Google Fonts, Next.js 13 also offers improved support for managing local fonts. Developers can easily import and use custom fonts from their local file system, eliminating the need for complex configuration and manual file handling. With the new local fonts management, Next.js streamlines the process of using custom fonts in web applications.
Improved flexibility and performance
By enhancing fonts management capabilities, Next.js 13 offers improved flexibility and performance for web developers. Whether it’s integrating Google Fonts or managing local fonts, Next.js simplifies the process and ensures optimal performance for web applications.

Thank you!

I have been trying to do this for 6 hours. Thank you…
Very neat 💯
Keep it up, dude 🤞🏻
how can i add multiple local fonts?
What If i want a global font, but the use of a second font specifically in select components throughout my app (such as a subheading h3 etc).
Do I import the second font in each component I need to use it in? I can't import it in the app/layout since I am not using it there at all.
You are a lifesaver man
