Do you not receive a model object in the template? I was expecting you to call a method to get an array of tags, like {% for y in x.tags() %} rather than using a custom filter.

I appreciate the overview. I've written a lot of web apps in php/mysql and just one with heavy graphics using django. Can't believe I actually figured out the django app on my own.

if you think Django has bad docs then you haven't seen NestJS docs! They made it bad so they can sell more of their official courses
