Israeli police release the youngest Palestinian prisoner after entering family home

Posted by

In a surprising turn of events, the youngest Palestinian prisoner held by Israel has been released as Israeli police entered his family home in the West Bank. The 11-year-old boy, whose name has been withheld for privacy reasons, was arrested earlier this year on charges of throwing stones at Israeli soldiers.

The release of the young boy comes after a long and arduous legal battle, with human rights organizations and Palestinian activists advocating for his release. The case has garnered much attention and sparked outrage over the detention of children by Israeli authorities.

The boy’s family and supporters have expressed relief and joy over his release, but the emotional toll of his arrest and detention cannot be understated. The trauma and fear that the family has endured during this ordeal is immeasurable, and it serves as a reminder of the ongoing injustice and oppression faced by Palestinians living under Israeli occupation.

The fact that a child as young as 11 was held in Israeli detention is a clear violation of international law and human rights standards. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child states that the arrest, detention or imprisonment of a child should be used only as a last resort and for the shortest appropriate period of time. The fact that the boy was kept in detention for several months is a clear violation of these principles.

The release of the young boy is a testament to the power of advocacy and activism in the face of injustice. It also highlights the importance of holding those in power accountable for their actions, especially when it comes to the treatment of children.

While the release of the young boy is a cause for celebration, it does not erase the fact that thousands of Palestinian children remain in Israeli custody, facing similar or worse treatment. The systematic targeting and imprisonment of Palestinian children is a glaring example of the ongoing human rights abuses committed by the Israeli government.

As the world celebrates the release of the youngest Palestinian prisoner, it is crucial to continue advocating for the rights of all Palestinian children who are unjustly detained by Israeli authorities. The international community must hold Israel accountable for its violations of international law and ensure that the rights of Palestinian children are upheld and protected. The release of the young boy is a small victory, but the fight for justice for all Palestinian children continues.

Why are you calling her a prisoner? She was detained for a possible crime. It's not acceptable to equate her to a 'prisoner'. She wasn't kidnapped from her bed at 6:30 in the morning by terrorists.

Sickening that she's a violent criminal at such a young age. That's what terrible parents and the religion of hate produces.

There was no Israel on the map before 1948. Palestinians helped israel ancestors who came there as refugees and ran away from Holocaust by giving them food, shelter, visa and protection! Instead of thanking to kind palestinians for helping them, the zionists movement started slaughtering palestinians and taking lands/houses and created Israel as a barbaric sadistic terrorist occupier in Palestine. This is the worst Nation of zionist Terrorist Israel! Free Palestine from Nazi terrorist Israel!

Even if the Palestinians were given an unoccupied country the size of iceland or Greenland ….they would still choose hamas to govern them which would rule them the way Taliban rules and they would still pla attacks on Israel and send these Palestinians to attack Israel and play the victim card…

a terrorist! You can see that she was released due to extortion from ISIS! She should not have been released, in a prison where they fed her and gave her education, a big difference from the demons of ISIS who kidnapped babies, children, the elderly, beat them and had to watch videos with atrocities with a gun to their heads! They are a culture of hate, they don't know what it really means to live! and you change the title of the video, you are a big liar like Hamas!
