Kenya’s President William Ruto Expresses Gratitude to PM Modi for African Union’s Inclusion in G20

Posted by

Kenyan President, William Ruto, extended his gratitude to Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, for his efforts to include the African Union in the G20 summit. Ruto expressed his appreciation during a recent meeting with PM Modi, where they discussed various matters of mutual interest.

“We want to thank PM Modi for his commitment to integrating the African Union into the G20. This move demonstrates India’s support for Africa’s development and its aspiration to be a partner in the continent’s growth story,” Ruto said in a statement.

The inclusion of the African Union in the G20 is a significant step forward in giving African nations a platform to voice their concerns and priorities on the global stage. It acknowledges the growing influence and potential of African economies and the need to involve them in key global economic and policy discussions.

Ruto also emphasized the importance of India-Africa cooperation in various fields, including trade, investment, and technology. He acknowledged India’s role as a strategic partner for Africa and its commitment to supporting the continent’s sustainable development and prosperity.

PM Modi, in response, reaffirmed India’s commitment to bolstering its partnership with Africa and supporting its economic and social progress. He highlighted the potential for greater collaboration in areas such as agriculture, renewable energy, healthcare, and information technology.

India has been actively engaging with African nations through various initiatives, including the India-Africa Forum Summit and the implementation of development projects in sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, and capacity building. The inclusion of the African Union in the G20 further underscores India’s dedication to fostering stronger ties with African countries.

The meeting between President Ruto and PM Modi reflects the shared vision of India and Kenya to deepen their bilateral relations and work together for the collective advancement of the African continent. Both leaders reiterated their commitment to enhancing cooperation and exploring new avenues for collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

As the African Union takes its place at the G20 table, it is poised to contribute to global discussions on economic growth, sustainable development, and the fostering of a more inclusive and equitable global order. The decision to include the African Union in the G20 is a testament to the recognition of Africa’s potential and the importance of its participation in shaping the future of the global economy.

The gesture of gratitude from President Ruto towards PM Modi reflects the positive and forward-looking approach of the African Union and its member states. It also signifies the growing partnership and collaboration between India and Africa in their shared pursuit of progress and prosperity. With the African Union now part of the G20, the world can look forward to a more inclusive and representative platform for addressing global issues and shaping the future of international relations.

Also not forgetting that it was Indians who built up the country from the time Brits took over till its Independence, and still after Independence. It was Indians who inspired Kenyans to fight for Independence, the likes of Appa Panth, Makhan Singh.

African continent is the highest potential continent in this world. But it's very sad to say no one leader its either african or out side the continent don't have loyal mindset to develop the Africa. Where ever world fight with only for their ego Africa still fight with food, health. Most of the African countries are very poor they need a loyal hand.
