Large Crowd Gathers in Chicago on Black Friday to Protest in Support of Palestine

Posted by

On Black Friday, as thousands of shoppers flocked to stores across the country for holiday deals, hundreds of people in Chicago gathered for a different reason – to show their support for Palestine.

The protest, organized by various pro-Palestine groups, saw a significant turnout despite the holiday shopping frenzy. Demonstrators held signs and chanted slogans in solidarity with the Palestinian people, who continue to face a multitude of challenges in the ongoing conflict with Israel.

The protest comes amidst escalating violence in the region, with tensions reaching a boiling point in recent months. The issue of Palestine has long been a contentious and deeply divisive one, with impassioned opinions on both sides. The Chicago protest, like many others held around the world, aimed to bring attention to the plight of Palestinians and to call for an end to the occupation of their land.

Many of the protesters expressed outrage over the recent Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of Palestinians, including many civilians. They condemned what they see as an excessive and disproportionate use of force by the Israeli military, and called for the international community to hold Israel accountable for its actions.

In addition to the immediate crisis, the protest also highlighted the broader issues facing Palestinians, including the ongoing Israeli settlements in the West Bank, the blockade of Gaza, and the lack of basic human rights for Palestinians living under Israeli occupation.

The protest drew a diverse crowd, with people of all ages and backgrounds coming together to demand justice for Palestine. Some carried Palestinian flags or wore keffiyehs, a traditional Palestinian scarf, while others held banners with messages of solidarity and support.

The event was also marked by speeches from community organizers, activists, and Palestinian leaders, who spoke passionately about the need for a just and lasting peace in the region. They called on the United States and other world powers to play a more active role in brokering a fair and equitable solution to the conflict, one that respects the rights and dignity of the Palestinian people.

Overall, the protest in Chicago on Black Friday was a powerful and visible display of support for Palestine. It served as a reminder that, even in the midst of holiday shopping and festivities, there are those who are willing to stand up and speak out for justice and human rights, no matter where in the world they are needed. The voices of the hundreds who gathered in Chicago echoed those of countless others around the globe, who continue to advocate for a peaceful and just resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

In year 2005 Israel removed from Gaza.
2006 Hamas won election and remove all rivals.
In year 2007 to 2012, United Nations give 7.7 billions to Hamas.
In year 2014, another 5.4 Billions was given to develop Gaza.
Another 2014 to 2020 4.5 billions was given to Gaza by international community and many more.
Total 17.6 Billions went into Gaza.
Yet Gaza still look like slum while Hamas leadership live in luxurious lifestyle???
What did Hamas do with the fund ? Give to Palestinians??

Palestine is a despicable country. There are no freedoms in Palestine whatsoever. There is no freedom of speech in Palestine. There is no freedom of religion in Palestine. There are no abortion rights in Palestine . Women can be beaten legally by their husbands in Palestine. If you change your religion from Muslim they can kill you and they do in Palestine. Homosexuals are killed in Palestine. This is the country you support?
