Two Israeli hostages’ bodies found in Gaza

Posted by

Tragic news has emerged from Gaza, where the bodies of two Israeli hostages have been recovered. The two men, Avraham Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed, had been missing for several years and their families had been anxiously awaiting news of their whereabouts. Unfortunately, their worst fears have now been confirmed.

Mengistu, a 28-year-old Ethiopian Israeli, crossed the border into Gaza in September 2014 and was subsequently captured by Hamas, the militant group that controls the territory. Al-Sayed, a Bedouin Israeli, also entered Gaza in April 2015 and was reportedly taken into custody by Hamas as well.

The recovery of their bodies has reignited tensions between Israel and Hamas, with Israeli officials condemning the militant group for its role in the deaths of the two men. Prime Minister Naftali Bennett stated that “Hamas is responsible for their welfare and their fate” and called for immediate action to return the bodies to their families.

Hamas has denied any knowledge of the whereabouts of Mengistu and al-Sayed in the past, but the recovery of their bodies has raised suspicions about the group’s involvement in their deaths. The Israeli military has also expressed frustration over the lack of progress in securing the release of the two men, despite efforts to engage in negotiations with Hamas.

The tragic outcome for Mengistu and al-Sayed serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas and the human cost of the longstanding tensions between the two sides. The families of the two men have been left to grieve the loss of their loved ones, while grappling with the complexities of the political and security dynamics that have contributed to their fate.

The recovery of the bodies of Avraham Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed is a heartbreaking development that has once again brought attention to the challenges of hostage situations in conflict zones. As the families of the two men mourn their loss, there is a renewed sense of urgency to address the underlying issues that have led to this tragic outcome. The hope is that their deaths will spark meaningful efforts to prevent similar tragedies in the future and to bring about a resolution to the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

The US is where they want to be to “stabilize” the situation. When other nations encroach it’s to “destabilize “ the country or region. That’s media speak. The bottom line is the oil. We’re bigger pigs than they are.

Heartbreaking. There were also soldiers who die rescuing the dead bodies of hostages. The Israelis have more respect to the dead bodies than Hammas has to live ones .
Long live israel

1 John 5:18-21
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
19 And we know that we are of God, and that the whole world lieth in wickedness.
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
