Will GPT-5 ever be released?

Posted by

There has been much speculation and anticipation surrounding the release of GPT-5, the next iteration of OpenAI’s powerful Generative Pre-trained Transformer language model. While there has been no official announcement from OpenAI regarding the release date of GPT-5, many are eagerly awaiting its arrival.

In this tutorial, we will explore how to stay up-to-date on the latest news and developments regarding GPT-5 and how to prepare for its potential release.

First, let’s discuss how to stay informed about any updates regarding GPT-5. One of the best ways to stay informed is to follow OpenAI’s official website and social media channels, such as Twitter and LinkedIn. OpenAI often uses these platforms to announce major developments and releases, so be sure to follow them to stay in the loop.

Additionally, you can sign up for OpenAI’s newsletter to receive updates directly to your inbox. This is a great way to stay informed about any new releases or announcements regarding GPT-5.

Now, let’s talk about what you can do to prepare for the release of GPT-5. One of the best things you can do is to familiarize yourself with the previous versions of GPT, such as GPT-3. By understanding how these models work and their capabilities, you will be better prepared to take advantage of the features and improvements that GPT-5 may offer.

You can also start to think about how you might use GPT-5 in your projects or applications. Consider the different ways that a powerful language model like GPT-5 could be utilized in your work and start brainstorming potential use cases.

Finally, consider brushing up on your HTML skills to ensure that you are ready to integrate GPT-5 into your projects once it is released. HTML is a crucial language for building web applications and interfaces, and knowing how to work with HTML will be essential for incorporating GPT-5 into your projects seamlessly.

To get started with HTML, you can create a simple webpage using basic HTML tags. Here is an example of a basic HTML document:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>My GPT-5 Project</title>
</head>
<body>
<h1>Welcome to My GPT-5 Project</h1>
<p>This is where I will be integrating the powerful GPT-5 language model into my project.</p>
</body>
</html>

In this example, we have a simple HTML document that includes a title tag, a heading tag, and a paragraph tag. This is the foundation of any HTML document, and by understanding these basic tags, you will be well on your way to working with HTML.

As you continue to explore and learn more about HTML, you will be better prepared to incorporate GPT-5 into your projects once it is released. Stay informed about any updates regarding GPT-5, prepare for its potential release, and continue to improve your HTML skills to make the most of this exciting new language model.

I'll chime in and say I don't like splitting up the content, or releasing part of a podcast here and then an additional one elsewhere. I'd rather have it be two separate shorter episodes on different mediums than having part of an episode here and a full audio episode I'll need to skip through or repeat listen right after.

Gavin! I hate it. Why mess with a good thing?! You guys are always second guessing yourselves. But you have fans and not that you should always be crowd pleasers but formats matter and routine matters and if you keep fucking with it that will be the reason you lose an audience. If it’s a logistics thing then you should hire a program manager to help you figure out a win win… working in a vacuum is never good… neither is crowd pleasing but what you do is a tv program more than a podcast. What would really kickstart your show in my opinion is a live audience format… better yet what would an audience of AI’s cheer and holler or boo for…? That’s fun content. Although you seem to be geographically apart one of you could have a live audience. Plenty of places in LA you could do it too. Just a thought. But seriously don’t mess with a good thing…. Keep the AI co-host but instead make it a guest and keep it short and funny. Format matters

I started to try to render "plump friction' in gen-3 and decided I'd be better to probably just leave that alone.

I dig this podcast because the conversations stay nuanced. I'm tired of the "with me or against me" positions people take on any complex issue. Thank you for doing the reporting and research needed to provide better context for the rest of us not in the AI space.

Get rid of phones and have messages delivered by hand. Stop with the ridiculous nonsense of crying about human labor being replaced. At the turn of the 20th century 38% of US labor worked in agriculture and now it is less than 3%. Amazon jobs didn’t even exist if you go back past 1994.

Gen-3 is in alpha. So that is where many of its limitations are coming from. It is not a finished product.

Burt Reynolds was the voice of the alien father Troy in the 80s sitcom Out of This World. Someone needs to build that cube thing that lit up when he spoke to his daughter and use AI Burt.
