Xi urges the establishment of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future, emphasizing its strategic importance

Posted by

In a recent meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chinese President Xi Jinping called for the building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future, emphasizing the strategic significance of strengthening ties between the two neighboring countries. This call for cooperation comes at a crucial time for both nations as they navigate regional and global challenges, and seek to bolster economic and diplomatic relations.

President Xi’s proposal for a shared future community with Vietnam reflects China’s commitment to fostering closer ties with its neighbor and promoting mutual development. This vision is in line with China’s broader foreign policy objectives of building a community with a shared future for mankind and promoting peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation with its neighbors and the international community as a whole.

The strategic significance of building a community with a shared future between China and Vietnam cannot be overstated. Both countries share a long history of cultural and economic exchange, and have a mutual interest in maintaining regional stability and prosperity. By deepening cooperation and working towards a common vision, China and Vietnam can contribute to peace and security in the region, and promote economic growth and development for their people.

In recent years, China and Vietnam have made significant progress in their bilateral relations, with increasing trade and investment ties, as well as cooperation in areas such as infrastructure development, energy, and people-to-people exchanges. President Xi’s call for a community with a shared future further underscores the importance of these developments and sets the stage for further collaboration and partnership between the two countries.

Furthermore, the proposal for a community with a shared future carries implications for the wider geopolitical landscape in Asia. As major powers in the region, China and Vietnam have the potential to shape the future of Asia through their cooperation and engagement. By building a community with a shared future, both countries can contribute to a more stable and prosperous Asia, and promote peace and development in the region.

It is important to note that the call for a shared future community between China and Vietnam is not only beneficial for the two countries, but also for the broader international community. As the world faces a myriad of global challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, and geopolitical tensions, the need for cooperation and solidarity has become increasingly apparent. By working together towards a shared future, China and Vietnam can set an example for the rest of the world and promote a more inclusive and peaceful global order.

In conclusion, President Xi’s call for building a China-Vietnam community with a shared future carries immense strategic significance for both countries and the wider region. By deepening cooperation and working towards a common vision, China and Vietnam have the potential to shape the future of Asia, and contribute to a more stable and prosperous world. It is imperative that both countries seize this opportunity to strengthen their ties and promote mutual development for the benefit of their people and the international community.

Vietnam and China must remember that your next door neighbor is far more importance than your thousands of miles away friend and relatives.

I am not Vietnamese or Chinese but from Southeast Asia country and also a member of ASEAN. Seeing this video Vietnamese and Chinese together we can't even tell if they are Chinese or Vietnamese. They all look like the same race of people. To me, Vietnamese and Chinese are like brothers and cousins.

Vietnam education should also include and teach the old traditional Vietnamese language using Chinese Han language like before. Should not forget their root of thousands year that Vietnamese language actually used Chinese Han written language for thousands of years until they were forced by the French colonizer to change.

I have been to Vietnam few times and I still see temples still have Chinese Language on the entrance, on the wall and everywhere inside the temples. And tombstone of graves at cemetery engraved with Han Chinese language.

In fact, according to an old man temple caretaker told me that 70% of Vietnamese language is actually from Chinese language mixed of Han language and other Chinese dialects. So, Vietnamese should preserve their own traditional written language which is it Han Chinese language.
